Signature Travel Network Holds
Annual Sales Meeting
More than 2,270 industry professionals gathered in Las Vegas

Travel suppliers, travel consultants, members of the media and more convened at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from Dec. 7-10 to network, attend one-on-one appointments and learn about Signature Travel Network’s latest technology, marketing and educational offerings.
Lead millennial and Gen Z researcher Jason Dorsey gave the opening keynote address.
Additional news from the conference included the announcement that Signature’s Hotel & Resort
Program expanded to more than 1,000 partner properties in 2018. The cooperative also added 120 new
preferred partners. Additionally, Cathie Lentz Fryer, president of CTA Travel in Cerritos, Calif., was named
the 2017 recipient of the Michelle Morgan Leadership Award, which honors the memory and work of
Michelle Morgan, Signature’s previous president who passed away in September 2013.
New Appointments for
Management and Product
Pleasant Holidays has revamped
its destination marketing management team with new appointments,
responsibilities and destinations.
Rachel Brodie has been promoted
to destination marketing manager
for the Caribbean. Brodie, who has
been with Pleasant for seven years,
will manage the marketing needs
for all 24 Caribbean island destinations in the company’s portfolio.
Susie Albin-Najera rejoins
Pleasant as destination marketing
manager for Mexico and Central
America. Albin-Najera was the
company’s marketing manager for
Mexico from 2011 to 2015.
Narissa Foster joins Pleasant as
destination marketing manager
for the U.S. and Canada and cruise
Monique Baker has been
appointed as destination marketing
manager for Europe and Japan and
Asia. She joins the company as it
reenters the Japan and Asia markets
after a 10-year hiatus.
Additionally, Betty Ozaki has
joined Pleasant’s product development team as product director of
